Ediltunnel S.p.A. born in 1996, founded by Rocco Ricchiuto and Brothers, as Constructor in hydraulic constructions.

Over the years it has specialized in the field of underground works to became expert in drilling  technologies.

The administrative and operational headquarters are based in Lecce.

The commercial management is located in the Milan office.

It works manly in the field of GAS PIPELINES and public works.

Today the company is mainly operating as EPC contractor in the sectors:

• Micro Tunneling (Slurry System) – CORE BUSINESS –
• Auger Boring (Mechanical System)
• Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)

It works as main contractor and/or specialized subcontractor for leading international general contractors, in Italy and on foreign markets.

It can provide rental services of special drilling machines, mainly for big projects overseas.

Ediltunnel has two technical offices, the first for its own projects / construction sites and the second at the service of the internal workshop, dedicated both in maintenance and in the construction of equipment.

Ediltunnel is recognized in the market as an operator capable to design and built “in house” solutions and equipment to solve specific problems and therefore offers a global, flexible service oriented to satisfy the needs of the project and the customer.

It combines equipment purchased by Herreknecht and other major national and foreign manufacturers with others designed and built in house.

It internally carries out maintenance and renewals of all equipment, including MTBM, in its Lecce workshop.

Ediltunnel is equipped to drill in all hydro geological conditions and cover the entire range of nominal diameters and technically feasible lengths.

It is specialized in rock works.

It performs also sea outfalls.

The company can also design and built the auxiliary civil works for its own drilling works (access roads,  construction sites, launching and receiving shafts, etc.).

Ediltunnel has over 10 specialised project managers and engineers and a staff with numerous experts.

In the context of progressive professional growth, it has recently actuated an important investment plan, opening an office in Milan appointed to define and manage the contracts, and a storehouse with attached workshop in Poviglio (RE) to support the job sites located in the North Italy.

Thanks to recent investments and in view of a strong development of the trenchless technologies market, it aims at a significant increase in its turnover.
